Viewing a digital asset

You can view a digital asset in a selected point in the digital asset hierarchy if the digital asset is in a media type that can be viewed.

To view an asset

Choose Assets from the navigation pane.

The Assets page displays. The digital asset hierarchy appears under Directory.

Do one of the following:

Use the Directory hierarchy to locate the asset you want to view. Refer to Navigating the digital asset hierarchy for information about navigating to a particular directory node and digital asset.

Use Search Assets by Name to find the assets (for more information, see Searching for assets).

Do one of the following:

•

Choose the View icon (

) for the digital asset.

•

Choose the name of the digital asset in the digital asset hierarchy to display the Asset Details page, then choose View Asset.

Choose OK to return to the Assets page.
